Fall 2010 - Via text message from Kandice Peterson with her new mount, Tornado Jones, bought from PTH: Hey, I took Lil Jonesy/Dezi to make a run tonight and won the barrel race with a 14.97 and the next closest time was a 15.1!!!! She did amazing! They said that is the fastest time they have had at the barrel races there!!! . . . Thank you!!! . . . NIRA Fall 2010 - The pair just clocked fast enough for 2nd of 130 entries at the Alva Central Plains College Rodeo, but tipped. Kandice and Jonesy keep getting more and more together and will be a great team! KEEP UP THE HARD WORK! We are so excited for them! |

goes by, the more and more I
appreciate and forever love the
horses that are true winners.
The ones that are those who
come through in clutch
moments, are even more
priceless.
"Torch" was first ran by my
great Uncle Phil about at the
age of 12 during the
Depression in the 1930s. My
youthful uncle and Torch fed
his family, as well as funded
them during the hardest times.
As Phil grew, he was too tall to
be his jockey and then became
Torch's trainer.
He set many track records,
running times along with
greats such as War Admiral.
Here's to you Torch!
