Penny and the infamous, Montana Afton "Tandy." The now 19-year-old gelding has claimed hundreds of thousands of dollars and is still running. He even paid for Penny's farm that she owned just south of Topeka, Kansas.
He is also an arena record holder across the country. Tandy's credentials include setting a record at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma, running a 16.8 on a standard pattern.
Tandy also qualified Desiree for the Oklahoma Team to go to the National High School Rodeo Finals in Farmington, New Mexico. The pair attended the spring rodeos and claimed the State Finals. They also were short-go qualifiers at College Rodeos.
LEFT: Penny earned the ABRA Tecumseh series Champion Title on Regers Tuffy "T," owned by Brenda and Rich Coffman of Latham, Kansas. Desiree and Montana Xcalibar were also award winners, he is owned by Penny.
